background

Pieter de Bruyn Kops is a Dutch-American architect, urbanist and painter currently living and working in the Netherlands. Pieter is an award-winning designer and a contemporary conceptual thinker who loves working on creative projects ranging greatly in scale, scope and field.

As an architect Pieter has the experience, expertise, and a network of peers and tradesmen, that allow him to work successfully on a wide range of residential, institutional, and corporate projects.

Beyond architecture, Pieter has, and continues to develop, passions for product design, entrepreneurial enterprise, politics, and art; his perspective on the human experience, our relationship to and with our (built) environment, and within ourselves as a society is fundamental to his consideration for every project that he works on.

Currently Pieter is working on a line of furniture, a series of paintings, a few writing projects, and the development of some industrial designs.

If you are interested in his furniture or art pieces, if you would like Pieter to work with you as a consultant on any creative/analytical project; or if you are looking for an architect who can help take your building project to another level, please feel free to get in touch!
